Joan's Story

Joan says we must all band together in the fight against Alzheimer's. She is professional caregiver with personal experience of how this disease impacts families.   

David's Story

David's grandma is wandering and wanting to "go home" to the place where she lived and raised her children over 30 years ago.  He likes to think she refers back to this time of her life because it's where most of her good memories took place. 

Lisa's Story

Alzheimer's disease has already claimed Lisa's mom, and now it is slowly taking away her sister. She will do whatever she can to help fight Alzheimer's.

Chuck's Story

After losing his brother-in-law to Alzheimer’s disease in 2001, Chuck whipped his body into shape and became a member of the Alzheimer's Association Team CARE (Conquering Alzheimer's Running Endeavor) that runs in the Chicago Marathon to raise funds for the Association's mission.

As Alzheimer's affects more and more people around Kate, she is spreading awareness and raising money for research and care by participating in her second Memory Walk.
