Awards Presented at AAIC
AAIC provides the Alzheimer's Association with the opportunity to present awards to some of the best and brightest leaders in the field.
These prestigious awards recognize the work of distinguished Alzheimer's researchers, as well as those who are just beginning their career in this vital field. The Association is proud to celebrate the individuals who have made significant contributions to further the vision of a world without Alzheimer's disease.
We congratulate all the honorees and thank them for their tireless work on behalf of the millions worldwide affected by Alzheimer's. Their dedication and drive has helped to make made significant advances in the Alzheimer's research field, and it is our pleasure to recognize their efforts.
Henry Wisniewski, M.D., Ph.D., Khalid Iqbal, Ph.D., and Bengt Winblad, M.D., Ph.D., were the founders of AAIC in 1988. Lifetime Achievement Awards named in their honor are given to three outstanding scientists who have dedicated their careers to helping millions around the world through their research.
